Mike Mogridge to be President of the Oxfordshire Golf Captains

Oxfordshire Golf Captains

At the AGM of the OGC Mike Mogridge was voted in as Vice President of the Association. This means he will be President of the Oxfordshire Golf Captains in 2011.

Mike was Captain of Henley in 1980 and the Captain of OGC in 2003. Apparently the role of President is an honorary one with no onerous tasks except to represent Oxfordshire by attending the Annual Dinners of other Counties as a guest and give advice to Oxfordshire Captains when needed. He will also be called upon to say Grace at all the Oxfordshire Captains functions and matches. Mike says he is well equipped to give advice and judging by the number of times he will have to say Grace will be eligible for Holy Orders by the year end.
